This wonderful girl is looking for a loving, forever home in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Bella is a healthy, spayed 7 year old German Shepherd/Doberman mix. She is up to date on her shots and very well behaved. She is a very sweet dog who loves children and other dogs as well. Bella is looking for an active couple or family. She does not want to be left home by herself, so there should be someone home most of the time to enjoy her company. She loves to go places, and is very well behaved, wherever she goes. Bella?s Personality
Bella is a wonderfully loyal (and petite!) German Shepherd/Doberman mix. She possesses a gentle confidence and thoroughly enjoys being close to her family. She loves water and the outdoors, and gracefully handles everything from routine walks to rugged hikes. She also loves being around people? kids included! ? and will show her affection with many kisses.
Bella?s Current Home Environment
Our home environment is very fun and loving. Bella lives in our home and has always been part of our family?s daily rhythm. We have two young kids so there was plenty of fun to be had each day.
Bella?s Current Family:
We are a family of four with two kids ages 2.5 and 9-months. Our family is very close and Bella has been with us through the arrival of both children. We often spend our weekends together and Bella is routinely in tow. We recently relocated across country and our current housing environment is not conducive to dogs. We are huge dog lovers and hope to rehome Bella with another family that will continue providing her with the love and care she desires and needs.
Bella?s Favorite Toys, Foods, Activities?
Bella enjoys durable chew toys, tennis balls, and squeaky toys (specifically lobsters!).
Bella enjoys Chicken Soup for the Soul for her daily meals and will consume the typical dog treats. She?s rarely had table food but will enjoy the occasional ?floor leftovers? she finds.
Bella loves to run and enjoys visits to the park, hiking and water activities. She is a strong dog and often wears a dog pack when going on hikes.
Cute Bella Story:
We have a 9-month old son and Bella was routinely found lounging near him?even relocating closer to him when he?d crawl away. She?s gentle, loves family and enjoys being close to her owners. She?s the family shadow and enjoys following us around day and night.
Why is Bella Being Rehomed?
Bella has been well loved, but due to an across country relocation with housing that does not accommodate dogs, we are seeking to re-home her to a loving family.
Bella?s Perfect Adoptive Home Will Be:
Bella?s ideal family would be able to spend most of the day with her and take her almost everywhere. She doesn?t enjoy being by herself and needs the comfort and closeness of family each day. She would not thrive with a working family where she?d be left to roam or sit in a crate most of the day.
Additional Comments:
We would be comfortable working to assist the new family with initial questions regarding Bella?s orientation to her new home but don?t anticipate staying in routine touch once Bella is rehomed.
